Our MissionSikhs of Princeton (SOP) is Princeton University's official Sikh Students Association, founded in 2009.
Our mission is twofold: First, to provide resources for Sikh students to not only practice their faith on campus, but also enrich their own knowledge of their heritage and culture. Second, to educate the Princeton community and the world about the Sikh religion. Especially with the current socio-political climate and ever present violence towards Sikhs in America, we aim to have SOP flourish as a mainstay religious and community organization on campus and have our language, culture and religion be a dynamic part of the Princeton community. To date, we have organized several religious and cultural events highlighting Sikh traditions such as Langar, Seva and Shabad Kirtan. Our goal for the coming years is to expand our framework for providing resources for Sikh students and education about Sikhs to the community at large. Current MembersAmandeep Saini '17
